Rails Along The Valley
Arkansas Valley Series - #6
A Brief Description:
Along with the deaths of Arthur Rhodes and his henchmen, comes a time of security and well-being to the Arkansas Valley in general and The Bartlett in particular, that has now been renamed Shiloh.
As Clint and Sue embark on a rewarding and fruitful life together as husband and wife, and are quickly blessed with two wonderful but mischievous children, Chad and Rebecca.
With the railroad continuing to draw ever closer to becoming a reality, old wounds are reopened as a result of the greed of a man named Heywood Jensen, who will stop at nothing to gain complete control of the ranch. As proof of that, he hires on a handful of gunfighters who are not only a very real threat to Clint, Jimmy, and Two Buffalos, but one of them has his own personal grudge to settle with Clint.

A Few Reader Reviews:
5 out of 5 stars: Great Series - Very well written. Great Author!

This book was my favorite of the entire series. This is a good series; gets the Christian message across w/out being preachy. I've enjoyed very much reading these books - very good stories - good Christian message - each book carries on the story to the next in the family line; yet each story line subject is different. I have found me a new author that I throughly enjoy. Now I'm off to the final book in this series; but will continue reading this author's other books.

THIS SERIES GETS BETTER WITH EACH BOOK. THE SPIRITUAL VALUE OF EACH STORY TRULY MAKES IT WORTH READING. It is never preachy. The Indian couple is Priceless. Good again prospers OVER evil. FAMILY VALUES CONTINUE TO BE A GOOD PART OF EACH STORY. THE FRIENDSHIP OF THE BOYS REMIND ME OF MY CHILDHOOD FRIENDSHIPS. IT ALSO SHOWS HOW THE LOVE OF GOD CHANGES PEOPLE FOREVER. THE DAILY LIFE WE LIVE CAN BE THE BEST WITNESS IN THE WORLD. THE NAME CHANGE WAS VERY TOUCHING.

If you like a clean book with a pretty good plot, you will enjoy this book. I have read all the other books in this series and have thoroughly enjoyed them. I really can't wait to get my next book. If you are a Christian, you will enjoy the Christian bent to the book. It is not overwhelming but there. Good book.

I like this series that follows multiple generations as they settle the Arkansas Valley. It is well written and has a good mixture of western action and romance. This novel is centered around the building of the railroad through the Shiloh ranch.

You must read the entire series. i could not put them down. I found myself reading until the wee hours of the morning and a couple of times actually fell asleep reading. When I say a great read, I do mean a great read.
